Terms of Charge

Bills under these rates are net and may be rendered quarterly or monthly and are due and payable when presented.

How to figure out usage into amount owed

Everyone with a 5/8” Meter (which is the most common) starts off with the $70.76 Minimum Quarterly Charge

Then you take the number of gallons used (let’s say 10,000 for this example)

10,000 gallons - 9,000 gallons allowed which equals 1,000 gallons. Divide the 1,000 gallons by 100 then times that by the .43 cents = $4.30

Then you add $70.76 Minimum to the $4.30 for the usage over 9,000 gallons which equals $75.06 for Water
